Jessica Goff - Silver Louisiana Certified Habitat

Congratulations to Jessica Goff for her Silver level Louisiana Certified Habitat at

the historic home site where she currently resides. A job in journalism initially

brought Jessica to Louisiana from Florida about 14 years ago. She took a second

job in journalism before making a career change from journalism to working with

plants. Currently, Jessica has a position with All Seasons Nursery doing work she

enjoys very much.

The home where Jessica lives, which was built in the 1840s, is located in the

middle of Grand Coteau. This may be the first property certified in this historic

town. Jessica is an avid birder and gardener. She takes great pleasure in

watching the birds, bees, butterflies, and other wildlife attracted to her garden

after she added many native plants there. With her garden habitat certified this

year, Jessica has accomplished a goal she set for herself shortly after becoming a

member of ANPP.
