Randy Moshier and Becki Fruge - Silver Louisiana Certified Habitat

When Randy and Becki bought this house in a traditional 1950's subdivision in

Lafayette, it had very traditional landscaping. Inspired by Doug Tallamy's books

and the idea of transforming one's yard into a National Park, they hired a

professional designer who was experienced with natives to turn their ideas into a

plan. Three years have passed and the whole yard has been transformed. They

say they love it! Their beautiful yard will be on the Acadiana Native Garden Tour

May 18.
