NATIVE PLANT Advocate of the month: Randy Aymond

I joined ANPP a couple of years ago after attending their native plant sales over the years. I was always interested in volunteering with ANPP, and once I was able to retire, I added the Tuesday mornings at the nursery to my weekly schedule. 

I have always loved growing things, especially native plants, and joining the ANPP propagation team gives me the opportunity to continue to learn about different species while helping the nursery to grow. Our personal property was also recently named as a Gold Louisiana Certified Habitat. 

I have recently started my own nursery, Beau Bois Nursery, where I will be growing native plant species to support ANPP and the local community. 

It has been a joy to work alongside all of the other volunteers at ANPP who are always willing to share their knowledge with others.
