Louise Prejean Lafayette - Gold Louisiana Certified Habitat

ANPP congratulates Louise Prejean of Lafayette for her Gold Certified Natural Habitat!

Louise is a Master Gardener and Master Naturalist, and it shows. Louise has been adding beds throughout her yard since moving to her new home 5 years ago. The only lawn left is paths! She has planted a diverse mix of natives and non natives, including many herbs and vegetables. Her most recent bed is a new bed where she planted grass, rush and sedge species she learned about in Dr. Charles Allen's Graminoids course. Louise also propagates plants for friends, ANPP, and Master Gardeners.
