Faye Drobnic - Gold Louisiana Certified Habitat

ree

ANPP congratulates Faye Drobnic for her gold-certified habitat in Lafayette.

Faye’s property is ¾ acre with two mature live oaks featured in the front yard.

There are other trees around her yard, which keep the property mostly shaded.

She’s lived here for thirty years and when she bought the property, many more

trees were standing. Over the years, with hurricanes, most have come down.

Despite the storms, Faye’s yard is lush, with a winding stone path leading the way

between her beautiful plants. Fun fact – in the early 90s, Bill Fontenot landscaped

the front yard, including planting the leucothoe! Currently, Steve Stronje helps to

manage the yard.

Thanks for Greauxing Native, Faye!
