Eli Megidesh and Kait Craven - Gold Louisiana Certified Habitat

Congratulations to Eli Megidesh and Kait Craven for their gold Certified Habitat

qualification. Their quarter-acre property is in a traditional suburban neighborhood

with large well-established trees including live oaks, loblolly pines and bald

cypresses. Through their volunteer work with ANPP, they discovered a plethora of

native plants to incorporate into their property to make it a home for all living

things. Despite the initial challenges of working with a mostly shady property, they

have been able to establish both shade loving beds and prairie patches, much to

the delight of the pollinators and the reptiles that occasionally eat them!
