ANPP congratulates Steve for his gold certified habitat in Grand Coteau in St.

Landry Parish!

Steve's pocket prairie is an explosion of wildflowers this time of year! Right now

his white wild indigo, beebalm, bluestar, milkweeds, pale coneflower, prairie

parsley, and hoary pea are blooming. Prairie grasses are coming up and will

bloom later this summer. Steve's Louisiana Native Seed Co. provides local

ecotype seeds, plants and consultation for restorations and other native

landscape applications, and much of his plant material is grown on site from

plants grown from seed collected on prairie remnants. He also opens his nursery

occasionally.
