Rebecca and John - Silver Louisiana Certified Habitat

Rebecca and John live on a 0.6 acre property in the middle of Lafayette. They

have been interested in conservation, birds, and coastal restoration for a while.

As they planted their first garden, they learned about the native plant movement,

and it was clear to them that they wanted "everything they planted to be edible for

either someone or something." Rebecca and John have restored a part of their

backyard to natural habitat in order to support the health of their established trees

and local wildlife.
