Melanie Manuel Vidrine and Larry Vidrine - BRONZE Louisiana Certified Habitat - VILLE PLATTE

ANPP congratulates Melanie and Larry Vidrine of Ville Platte in Evangeline Parish for their bronze-certified habitat!

They have lived on this 1.5-acre rural property for over 30 years. After meeting friends involved in ANPP, Melanie began converting a traditional rose and flower garden to a mixture of natives and non-natives. Some natives were purchased from Lastrape's and ANPP, but many have come from friends and nearby roadsides. This is the Vidrines' second habitat certification; the other is their camp near Port Barre.
